Barry takes leadership seriously, he intends to take Kyokushinkaikan Allied Karate to new levels and seeks to create opportunity unencumbered with beaurocracy and restrictive financial arrangements that traditionally have seen members suffer needlessly. Johnston combines his deep technical expertise with extensive experience in government compliance and international expansion. As a key ambassador and strategist for the Kyokushinkaikan Allied Karate, his leadership continues to drive the organization’s growth, integrity, and global influence.
Shihan Peter Hogarth is a Karate master with over five decades of dedication to the art. A distinguished figure in Kyokushin Karate, he brings invaluable knowledge and leadership that strengthens the integrity of the discipline and enhances the value of all affiliated organizations. He understands that a strong organizational structure is greater than the sum of its parts and that, through effective leadership, the organization will thrive.
Peter began his Kyokushin journey in 1973 under Hanshi Eddie Emin and Shihan Peter Volke, quickly establishing himself as a formidable competitor on the tournament circuit from 1974 to 1977, where he earned recognition as a champion fighter.
Beyond his achievements in competition, Shihan Peter has played a pivotal role in shaping the Kyokushinkaikan Allied Karate. As the Chief Competition Referee, he upholds the highest standards of fair play and discipline in tournaments. Additionally, as a respected administrator, he oversees the grading process, ensuring the integrity of Dan and Kyu rankings within the organization. His lifelong commitment to Karate continues to inspire and guide generations of martial artists.
Shihan Lennie Anderson is a 5th Dan Karate master and a driving force in the Kyokushin community, dedicated to shaping the future of martial arts. A respected leader, he has played a pivotal role in guiding youth development through Karate, using discipline and training as tools for personal growth and empowerment.
With a strong vision for the future, Shihan Lennie is committed to expanding opportunities for both new students and adult instructors, fostering Kyokushin Karate as a meaningful vocational pathway.
